MUSIC MINISTRY
Chancel Choir
The MUMC choir is open to anyone high school age or over who wishes to praise God through song! The choir sings every Sunday during Traditional Service from September through May. Choir rehearsals are held Wednesday evenings (times may vary) in the Sanctuary. There is no audition requirement and the choir is open for membership at any time. Special Music
During the months of June, July and August there are opportunities to share your God-given gifts and hard-earned talents with the congregation by performing special music for the worship service. Please contact Lacey Brown at the church office for more information.
Hand Bell Choir
Ringing hand bells is a fun way to praise the Lord! Ability to read music and commitment to rehearsal are strongly suggested. The hand bell choir meets from 9:00 – 10:00 am on Saturdays, September through May in the balcony of the Sanctuary. Ringers perform several times throughout the year at Sunday Traditional Service as well as special services. Please contact Randy Auxier, Director, at (618) 565-1238 for more information.
Praise Team
Do you play an instrument? Do you like to sing? The praise team might be just the place for you. The team plays at the Praise Service at 11:15 am every Sunday morning. They have practice on Tuesday evenings at 6:30 pm in the Sanctuary. If you are interested, come to a practice or contact Lacey Brown at the church office.
