Children of all ages are welcome in worship services. If you prefer, nursery care is available for children ages infant through three years old during the worship and Sunday School hours. The Nursery is located in Room 201, just outside the north sanctuary doors.  A pager system is provided for parents who leave children in the nursery. Additional volunteers assist when needed. Nursery services are also provided for some of the studies and events offered at MUMC throughout the year.

Nursery Procedures

You may drop off your child in the nursery before worship begins or any time during worship as needed. You will be greeted by the Nursery attendant for that morning. You may leave your child’s diaper bag and belongings on the shelf just inside the door. Please share any special instructions, food allergies, or other important information with the nursery attendants. You will be asked to take a pager with you so you can be paged if needed. Children who are old enough are typically offered a snack and drink while in the nursery. Our nursery is a peanut free zone!

Children’s Church

Children’s Church is offered during the Traditional service where children attend approximately half of the regular worship service and then are invited to attend Children’s Church following the Pastoral Prayer, if they would like to participate. Children’s Church is for ages three through third grade (suggested) and is held in Room 205. It is led by Sunday School teachers and additional volunteers.

Sunday School

Sunday School is available for children ages three and up during the Sunday School hour which begins at 10:10 am. Please see the Children & Youth Sunday School page for more information on classes.
